February, Jared Andreozzi, Men's Volleyball

Junior Men's Volleyball player Jared Andreozzi (Barrington, RI) was named the Rivier College Male Student-Athlete of the Month for February 2010.  Andreozzi led the #6 ranked Raiders to a 10-3 mark during the month of February and a perfect 4-0 record vs. GNAC opponents.  During the 13 game span, Jared led the team in total kills (155), kills per game (5.00) and points per game (5.81).  Jared hit for an outstanding .403 hitting percentage, added 9 service aces, 43 digs and 25 blocks during the month.  Jared was named to the Nazareth College Golden Flyer Invitational Tournament All-Tournament Team after dropping 66 total kills with only 18 errors on 124 attempts for a .387 hitting percentage.  He was also named GNAC Men's Volleyball Player of the Week following that same weekend.  Jared majors in Criminal Justice at Rivier.
