Basketball

Head Coach David Morissette is entering his 14th season as the Raiders Head Coach. He is also the Assistant Director of Athletics . He has a made the playoffs thirteen consecutive years winning the GNAC Championship once, making it to the NCAA Tournament in 2007 and finishing as the 2009 ECAC Tournament Runner-Up. He has also been selected as the New Hampshire Division-3 Coaches Association "Coach of the Year" in 2008 and 2009. He has won over 100 games for Rivier in his career. David attended Plymouth State University (1994) where he graduated with a degree in Physical Education. From Plymouth he went on to the United States Sports Academy and earned his master's degree in Sports Management in 1997.

Prior to Rivier College, Morissette worked at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH for three years. His duties at Notre Dame were Assistant Athletic Director, Head Men's Basketball and Softball Coach. He was named Director of Athletics briefly before moving on to Rivier College.

After graduating from Plymouth State David was a Graduate Assistant in the Recreation and Intramural Department along with being the Assistant Basketball Coach for two seasons.

Softball

Head Coach David Morissette will be entering his 4th year as Women's Softball Coach. Coach Morissette lead the softball team to the 2011 GNAC Championship game and a ECAC Tournament Bid with a 26-15 record. Coach Morissette was the Raiders head softball coach from 2000-2002, but stepped down from his position with the team following a department realignment that made the women's basketball and softball coaching positions into one full time position. After taking over as the interim coach during the fall of 2010 Morissette is once again taking the reins to the team. Prior to Morissette's previous stint as the Raiders softball coach, he was also the Softball Coach at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH for two seasons.

David resides in Exeter, NH with his wife Kristen along with his sons Cody (11) and Joshua (8).

Chris Giordano is entering his first season as the Raider's Assistant Coach. Prior to joining the Rivier coaching staff, Chris was the varsity assistant coach at Nashua North High School for three years. In addition, Chris served as a head coach for the 16u team with The Middlesex Magic AAU program. Chris attended and played at Rivier College, starting three of his four years there. His team made the playoffs all four years he played at Rivier. In the 2006-2007 season, his team won the GNAC Championship and earned a berth to the NCAA Division III tournament. Chris was an All-Tournament team selection for the GNAC playoffs in 2007, he was the Unsung hero award winner in 2004 and 2007, and was awarded the Jim Domaracki award in 2007. Chris graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English in 2007 and is currently a Middle School Teacher in Lowell, Massachusetts.
