Rivier Earns Programs First Men’s Lacrosse Win
Nashua, NH – The Rivier College men's lacrosse team earned the first win in program history today with a 9-6 win over first year program Wheelock College. Justin Chenevert (Wilmington, MA) picked up a hat trick with 3 goals in the game, Chenevert also added an assist for the Raiders. Leading goal scorer Danny Hooper (Wakefield, RI) added two goal for the Raiders and Alex Wezelis (Churchville, NY) tallied two goals as well.

Lasers Shutout Raiders 23-0
NEWTON, MA- Lasell College men's lacrosse ended the 2011 regular season with a 23-0 shutout of Rivier College on Friday afternoon at Grellier Field. Twenty-one Lasers scored points in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game, as Lasell lands at 2nd place in the conference heading into the post season tournament, with an 8-7 overall and a 6-1 league slate. Rivier's campaign comes to a close with a 0-9 overall and 0-7 GNAC record.

Nashua, NH – Fourteen different players scored at least one goal for the Monks of St. Joseph's College as they easily handled the Rivier College Raiders 25-2 today in men's lacrosse action. The Monks outshot the Raiders 66-5 in the rout and scored 8 fourth period goals after the game was already well in hand.

Nashua – Junior Alex McKenzie (Nashua, NH) notched a game high four goals and fellow junior Justin Chiulli (Saugus, Mass.) added three scores guiding the Daniel Webster men's lacrosse team past intracity rival Rivier College, 10-4 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference opener for both clubs Saturday in a game played at Raiders Athletic Field.

Farmington Spoils Opening Day for Rivier
Nashua, NH – Rivier College opened up its men’s lacrosse season today with a 16-1 loss against the University of Maine at Farmington at Raider field in Nashua, NH. Patrick Hurley scored what would be the eventual game winner with 6:09 left in the first quarter as the Beavers went up 5-0 in the opening frame and never looked back.
