Chue Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

Nashua, NH - Rivier College freshman setter Jamison Chue (Newton, MA) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week.  As a member of the men's volleyball team at Rivier College, Chue led the Raiders to 2 conference victories over the past week while directing the offense with 10.5 assists per game.  In the first match, against Emerson College, Jamie dished out 34 assists, recorded 4 digs and put back 3 blocks as the Raiders beat the Lions in straight sets 3-0.  Chue followed up that performance with another straight set 3-0 victory over Mount Ida College.  Jamie threw up 29 assists, 2 blocks and laced in 5 ace serves in the match to help the Raiders remain undefeated in conference play with a perfect 3-0 record in matches and 9-0 record in total sets played.  The Raiders will continue their conference schedule this weekend as they take on Emmanuel College on Friday night and will play 2 matches against Albertus Magnus College on Sunday.  You can find all of the Raiders schedules at www.rivierathletics.com.
