Raider Honors Keep Piling Up
Freshman Taylor Cournoyer (Mansfield, MA) has just been named the ECAC Rookie of the Year as well as being named an ECAC 1st Team All-Star. This recognition is a first for the Raider Softball Program.

White Earns Regional Academic Accolade
Nashua, NH – For the first time in Raiderhistory, Rivier College seniorpitcher Monica White (Augusta, ME) has received ESPN The Magazine Softball All-Academic District 1 honors.

Six Players Represent Rivier on GNAC All-Conference Teams
Nashua, NH- The 2010 Great North East Conference (GNAC) Champs had six of its players selected to one of the four GNAC All-Conference Teams. The Raiders posted their best season in history with a 32-2 overall record (23-1 in conference) and have a chance to be the first team to bring a national title back to Rivier. Rivier Claims GNAC Softball Crown in Extra Innings, 1-0

2010 GNAC Softball Tournament Schedule
The Raiders clinched first place with an outstanding conference record of 23-1, and overall record of 30-2. The Raiders pulled through a key victory tonight over St. Joe’s ME to obtain the top spot in the tournament. The 2010 team has posted the highest record in school history.

Cournoyer Named GNAC Rookie of the Week for Third Time
Nashua, NH – Rivier College softball player Taylor Cournoyer (Mansfield, MA) was named the Greta Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the third time in this 2010 season this week. The Raiders have an experienced and battle-tested group of returning players combined with a very talented group of newcomers. This is the deepest and most talented softball team Rivier College has ever assembled.

Raiders show opponents what is in store in 2010
Although the fall season is an unofficial season for softballers, this Riv squad approached the 3 weeks with an intensity and focus that belies their age. After several intense practices, the Raiders took to the diamond for a 2-game play day hosted by Elms College.
