Three Raiders Named All-Conference in Inaugural Season
Nashua, NH- The Rivier Women's Lacrosse was represented well on the GNAC All-Conference teams as three Raiders were selected in their first full season. The Raiders had a successful first season as they recorded 3-10 record that included a win over cross town rival Daniel Webster College.
Junior captain Natalie Bonvie (Salem, NH) was selected to the Second Team All-Conference as an attacker. Natalie had a great first season as she was second on the team with 31 goals and second in points with 38. Natalie had a .356 shooting percentage and recorded a team high 70 shots on goal.
Freshman defender Caitlin Gallagher (Billerica, MA) was also selected to the Second Team All-Conference for her play in the backfield. Gallagher started and played all 13 games for the Raiders where she led the team with 6 caused turnovers. She also picked up 7 recovered turnovers and 36 ground balls while adding 2 goals on the year.
Alyssa Renaud (Goffstown, NH) was the final Raider to make a team as she was selected for the GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team. Alyssa was chosen by her teamates to represent Rivier on the Sportsmanship team because of her contributions to the team on and off the field. Renaud played in every game scoring 13 goals, in which all 3 ended up being game winners for the Raiders in their three victories.
The Raiders completed their season last week and look forward to building the program stronger for next season.
