Raiders No Match For The Eagles

Bangor, ME – Husson University defeated Rivier College 27-8 in a game featuring goals from ten different Eagles. Shelby Bradford (Sr., Lee, ME) collected 6 goals and 2 assists for the Eagles while Lauren Brett (Fy., Otisfield, ME) tallied 3 goals and one assist for the Raiders. With the win, the Eagles improve to 3-1-1 while the Raiders fall to 0-3.

Husson's Meg Clement (Jr., Brunswick, ME) set the tone with a goal 17 seconds into the first half. Bradford contributed four goals in the first half, scoring three consecutive goals in just over two minutes, The Raiders collected three first half goals of their own by Lauren Brett (Fy., Otisfield, ME) to end the half trailing the Eagles 12-6.

The Eagles pulled away in the second half scoring an additional 15 goals for the 27-8 win.

Husson returns to action on Saturday, April 3, when they travel to Green Mountain College to kick off conference play.
