Raiders Finish Season With A 2-1 Win
Newton, MA – The Rivier College Raiders spoiled the senior day events at Mount Ida College, winning a 2-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game on Tuesday afternoon in Newton, Massachusetts. The Mustangs finish their 2010 campaign under the direction of first year head coach Melissa Philbrook at 3-12-1 going 1-11-0 in conference play while the Raiders, who also end their season, finish with an overall record of 8-8-2, 4-6-2 in conference competition.

Rivier's Playoff Hopes Fall Short After 1-0 Loss
Nashua, NH - A very physical game was played out tonight at Rivier College as the Raiders needed a win to stay alive in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference playoff hunt. A tough 1-0 loss to GNAC foe Emerson College dashed their hopes as the Raiders fell to 3-6-2 in conference play and too far back in the standings to make the playoffs.

Rivier Upends Emmanuel, 1-0, In GNAC Women's Soccer Action
BOSTON, Mass. – Rivier College defeated Emmanuel College, 1-0, in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) women’s soccer action played on Roberto Clemente Field on Saturday afternoon. The 1-0 shutout represented the first time that the Raiders have topped the Saints in the past ten years. The win improved Rivier’s record to 7-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the league, while Emmanuel fell to 5-9 on the season and 3-5 in GNAC play.

Raiders Are Thinking Pink For A Cure
Nashua, NH - October is breast cancer awareness month and the Rivier College Raider are doing their part to help the cause. Throughout the month each Raider team, men's and women's soccer, women's volleyball and field hockey, will be hosting a think pink event to help raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the largest breast cancer research organization in the country.
