Second Straight Week for Finlayson

Nashua, NH - For the second time is as many weeks, and the third time this season, Rivier freshman Kenna Finlayson was named the GNAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week.

While helping lead the Rivier women's volleyball team to a GNAC semifinal appearance last week, Kenna put down a team high 33 kills between the quarterfinal win over Mount Ida College and the semifinal loss to Emerson College.

Against Mount Ida, Kenna was unstoppable, recording 14 kills in the 3-0 victory with only 2 errors, hitting .545 percent for the match.  Then in a 3-2 loss to Emerson College, Kenna once again led the team in kills with 19 and added 5 digs and a block in what wound up as the last game of the season for the Raiders.
