Finlayson Named GNAC Rookie of the Week

Rivier College freshman Kenna Finlayson (Derry, NH) was named the GNAC Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 31, 2009.  On her way to helping Rivier to a 4-0 week, Kenna set a single match record for kills by putting down 30 kills in the 5 set win against UMass Dartmouth.  For the week, Kenna had 80 kills in 16 sets played, averaging 5.00 kills per set and hit .412%.  She also added 5 service aces, 7 blocks and 20 digs to round off her game.  This marks the second time this season that Kenna has been named GNAC Rookie of the Week.
