Raider Women Finish Second at NHTI Friendly Kitchen 5K

Concord, NH - The Rivier Women's Cross Coutry Team finished second in the first meet of their young season as they traveled to NHTI in Concord, NH for the early season three team race.

Freshman Rebecca Vincent (Concord, NH) was the top Raider finisher, third overall, with a time of 23:06, just 36 seconds behind the leader Jacqueline Towle from NHTI who finished at 22:30.  Senior Maria DeRosa(Peabody, MA) finished 4th behind Vincent at 23:39.

Renne Desmaris finished 7th (25:58), Christine Cyr was 10th (26:45), while Kathryn McGowan (29:08) and Sarah Fronckwicz (30:47) finished 13th and 14th respectively. 

As a team the Raiders fisnsihed second with 33 toatl points behind NHTI who scored 23 points.

The Raiders will be running again on Friday, September 18th at Daniel Webster College.  Race time is slated for 4:00 PM.
