Rivier Finishes 4th at DWC Eagle Invitational

The Rivier women's cross country team took home a fourth place finish at the Daniel Webster College Eagle Invitational on Friday as Rebecca Vincent (Concord, NH) finished 4th overall.

Vincent led the race for the first 2.2 miles, but couldn't hold on during teh last mile as she was overtaken and finished with a time of 23:41 which was good enough for fourth overall.  The overall winner, Patricia Pruiksma from NHTI, finished with a time of 23:08, just 33 seconds ahead of Vincent.

Senior Maria DeRosa (Peabody, MA) finished 10th in the race with a time of 24:59, while Christine Cyr (29:22), Kathryn McGowan (30:35) and Sarah Fronckwicz (31:27) all scored points for the Raiders.

The Raiders finished fourth as a team with 92 points.  NHTI took the team race scoring 50 points followed by Wheelock (73) and Newbury (84).
