Head Coach Lance Bisson enters his first season as the Head Coach for the Men’s Basketball team here at Rivier. He also becomes just the third Head Coach in Rivier Men’s Basketball history following Jim Domoracki (1992-93 to 1997-98) and David Morissette (1998-99 to 2014-15). He served as the Interim Head Coach for 20 games during the 2015-16 year after earning the promotion from Assistant Coach. Bisson has been a fixture on the Raider bench as one of the top assistant coaches since his first season in 2012-13.

Bisson played all four seasons (2005-06 to 2008-09) of his college career at Rivier where he led the program as the starting point guard to its only Great Northeast Athletic Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament Appearance in the 2006-07 season. Also during his time on the court, Bisson led his team to four straight appearances in the GNAC Tournament. He totaled 1,223 points in Raider Blue, making him one of the 13 members of the 1,000 point club and the program’s sixth highest scorer. Bisson still holds several program records and was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

Prior to Rivier, Bisson was the top Boys’ Varsity Assistant Coach at Nashua North High School where he also guided the freshman hoops team as well. 

He is also the Head Coach for both Men's and Women's Cross Country.
